We have a wide-ranging conference programme with an exciting line-up of speakers including AI Minister Kanishka Narayan, Treasury Minister James Murray, Mayors Steve Rotheram, Claire Ward, Kim McGuinness and Oliver Coppard, Rail Minister Lord Hendy, former Deputy Cabinet Secretary Helen MacNamara, and many more. All events will be held in the FGF Pod, Arena Room – Ness, Lower Level in the Liverpool Experience Campus (LEX), inside the secure zone, unless stated otherwise.

Too many of Britain’s female, ethnic minority, disabled and working class entrepreneurs are ‘underinvested’: unable to access the finance needed to start or scale a business. To mark the launch of new FGF research sponsored by HSBC, this session will discuss practical policy solutions to break down barriers and unlock economic potential.
